Using technology to exasperate the kids

My 18 month old loves clementine oranges. He will go through 3 of them in one sitting. It got to a point where he would help himself and go through a bag so quickly, that we had to hide the bag of clementines from him.
This morning, I was video-skyping the family from Zurich. I had a clementine leftover from my breakfast, so I decided to offer it to him over skype. I showed him the whole orange, and he started screaming, crawling towards the computer, and reached out to "grab" the orange. I peeled the orange in front of him, and then offered him a piece. After being unable to reach it, he crawled over to eat it directly from my "hand" over the screen. I then ate the piece myself. :P I wish I had recorded it!

By the way, next time you are skyping someone with a built-camera on the laptop. Have them walk around the house while still holding the camera towards they're face. It's pretty cool.
