Christmas 2007

This year for Christmas, we stayed at home in Boston. Nice mellow Christmas Christmas Eve, some friends from the kid's school came by in their rented Trolley and sang us some "Frosty the Snowman" in round. We then hopped on the trolley and rode down to the Jamaica Plain area of town to check out a house that had been WIlDLY decorated for ther holidays.
Christmas morning, we managed to get the kids to wait until 11am before opening gifts. Check out some pics of the kids opening and enjoying their gifts, as well as some shots from the trolley tour.

Lilo Vocal Recital Dec 2007

Lilo had her vocal recital on Saturday for the youth Choir. The choir is at one of the best school's of music in the area. . I would think that they could have found a better pianist or at least one who is better prepared.
She has "Chen Hair" in the video (long story)

Auto Show and Children's Museum

On Nov 30, I took Stitch to the Boston Auto Show on a "boy date". He was way excited. The wind was blowing hard near the water in Boston, and it was very, very cold. But he pushed forward bravely. When we got inside..he was soo excited to see the cars..so much so that he got excited by the golf cart carrying staff around the facilities.
His favourite ended up being the BMW Z4, but it was so crowded over by the luxury brands, I took him over to the pontiacs and he loved those too.
The first pciture is his absolute favourite, though!

The next day, we went to see the "Huge Train exihibit" at South Station in Boston (according to the Grand Councilwoman). "It took all week to setup". We got there, and found a small toy train. So we went to the Children's museum afterwards with our friend Jose and Anna + kids, and Chris + Kids. We also ate a lot that day.

Thanksgiving 2007

For the 3rd Year, we went to Aunt C's house for dinner again. Uncle James and his wife were up from MD, and we celebrated their retirement. Cousin A got some practice holding a baby. The meal, as usual had plenty, but the food was superb this year, including:

2 flavors of smoked duck
Steak
Turkey Breast (First time I have had turkey at their house..last year we almost did, but a raccoon ran away with the turkey!)
Lamb
Pork
and another meat I can't remember!!
..and of course, Salmon Sashimi Dish

Here are some pics...click to see more detail.
